Kick-off Meeting
WebCastle to meet with client to discuss the aims of the project, the functionality requested and the creative brief.
Functional Specification
WebCastle to then draft a detailed functional specification document to list the exact workings of the system and supply to client for further discussion and finalisation.
Site Architecture
WebCastle to update or create a sitemap to reflect discussions, and create a paper based wireframe for each unique template as a method of defining.
Customisation and Configuration
Once the functional specification has been agreed, WebCastle will configure the content management system and existing ‘plug-ins’, and will build any bespoke functions into the system to fulfil the specification.
Creative Briefing
WebCastle to supply creative brief template. Client to draft creative brief. Agency client to discuss and finalise. WebCastle to then design home page template according to creative discussion and page architecture.
Review with the Client
Client to select design, and provide feedback and changes. WebCastle to revise templates according to feedback. On approval, agency to create and supply all other template for feedback and subsequent finalisation.
HTML/CSS
On approval of all templates WebCastle to build them in HTML/CSS and insert into the content management system. Our search engine optimisation (SEO) team are centrally involved at this stage.
Training
Training to be provided so that the client can manage the website themselves. WebCastle also provides full user-support.
Content Upload and Testing
Once the system is built and the pages are integrated, WebCastle will supply the system on a test server for the client to insert content and test. Client to supply details of any bugs for WebCastle to flush out of the system. WebCastle to fully support this process.
Launch
Once content has been uploaded, on client approval the website will go live. If the client has requested a search optimisation campaign it will begin at this stage.
